I was contacted by a reporter for The Press Democrat after we submitted mom's obituary. They said they liked to feature interesting local people, and of course she fit the bill. So what you'll find is the result of a 20 minute phone interview & the written obituary we submitted. The dates and timelines are subject to my faulty memory--not fact, although I may well have gotten them correct.
