  1. Ann was a most loyal and extraordinary participant in the SF Fine Arts Museums Access workshop program. I think our March 20, workshop will be the only one missed in more than 12 years. There will be an enormous hole for us to try to fill with her spirit. Her last workshop was on the King Tut exhibition where she regaled us with stories of King Tut's underwear laid over a chair in the Cairo Museum. She could not get over that she now knew that King Tut wore underwear. Whenever I think of her, I will picture King Tut in his underwear and Ann's wonderful laugh as she told the story. I love this photo because it captures her amazing spirit of adventure, creativity, fun, and loyalty. Love, Susan Hyde Greene, Access workshop instructor

  3. Although I only met Ann a couple of times in Santa Rosa when visiting with Erika, I got a true sense of her warm, nurturing, and generous spirit. I realize she was known as a great friend, wife, mother, and most recently, survivor. I know that in her passing, the many people close to her are experiencing a tremendous loss. For this I am sorry .

  12. First of all I would like to say great blog! I had a quick question which I'd like to ask if you don't mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing.
I've had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there. I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Appreciate it!
